Sambhavam, derived from the Sanskrit word for ‘Event’, embodies our commitment to experiential learning at MNC. This innovative program is designed to enhance and reinforce the skills taught in the classroom by immersing children in daily real-life situations. Through these experiences, we aim to assist children in
Learning from Real-Life Experiences – Engaging in events outside of the school environment.
Collaborative Learning – Gaining insights and skills through interaction with peers.
Skills Reinforcement – Strengthening previously learned skills through practical application.
Generalizing Skills – Applying learned skills to everyday activities and routines.
Methodology
Our approach is structured and thematic, ensuring meaningful engagement throughout the academic year.
Collaborative Planning – Teachers work closely with parents to plan activities and select appropriate venues, such as parks, shopping malls, railway stations, and bus terminals.
Activity Documentation – Each event is recorded on video.
Reflective Learning – The following day, children watch the recorded video at the Centre to help them recall and reflect on the event.
Creative Re-enactment – Children, parents, and teachers collaboratively create charts and props for a re-enactment of the visit, reinforcing their learning.
Skill Reinforcement – Opportunities are provided to revisit venues, allowing children to practice and generalize their skills further.
Active Demonstration – Children recreate scenes from their visits, demonstrating their understanding and application of learned concepts.
