What Families Say
About MNC

“I am deeply thankful to the staff and management at MNC, whose unwavering support and counseling enabled my son, Lakshai Kumar, who is visually impaired, autistic, and has an intellectual disability, to overcome numerous challenges. Their encouragement helped him develop essential independent living skills and achieve a world record in relay swimming. I am also grateful for their support in helping me earn my Diploma in Special Education.”

“I am profoundly grateful for MNC’s Early Intervention program, which provided the essential foundation for my son, Sankalp, who has cerebral palsy, to develop crucial head control, toileting skills, and other vital daily living skills. This foundation allowed us to enroll him in inclusive education, where he excelled academically. Sankalp thrived on being treated as a typical member of our family, and we ensured he participated in all our activities and travels.”

“Im deeply grateful for MNC’s invaluable support of my visually impaired daughter, Vishnupriya. Her three years at MNC, beginning at just eight months, provided a strong foundation that enabled her to complete the 12 th grade. Given her musical talent, we nurtured her in Carnatic music, helping her earn a postgraduate degree from Madras University with a gold medal. She now performs nationally and teaches music at MNC. Inspired by her, I trained as a special educator and provide vision therapy at MNC”.

Recognition Over the Years

MNC’s journey of achievement began with the launch of the Upanayan Early Intervention Program by Mother Teresa in 1992. This pioneering program has been accredited by the Rehabilitation Council of India and has served as a transformative model for government early intervention centers across Tamil Nadu. The Centre’s leadership has been recognized at both national and state levels, earning prestigious honors such as the ‘Best Institution Award’ from the Tamil Nadu Government in 1995 and the National Award for Outstanding Institutions in 2004.
