Mr. N. Kumar is the Chairman of the Group Corporate Board of The Sanmar Group, a multinational conglomerate based in Chennai. An Electronics Engineering graduate from Anna University, Chennai, he brings extensive experience in technology, management, and finance to his role.
He serves on the boards of various public companies and is recognized as a prominent voice in industry and trade, having previously held the position of Past-President of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and participated in numerous apex bodies. Beyond corporate management, Mr. Kumar is deeply engaged in public interests, including health, social welfare, education, and sports.
He has a special commitment to the Madhuram Narayanan Centre for Exceptional Children and also serves as the President of Bala Mandir Kamaraj Trust (BMKT). His involvement extends to actively supporting the disability sector.
Additionally, Mr. Kumar is committed to enhancing international relations in his role as the Honorary Consul General of Greece in Chennai.
