Mr. L.N. Vijayaraghavan, I.A.S, Secretary to the Social Welfare and Nutritious Meal Department, Government of Tamilnadu, inaugurated the conference at function held on the evening of 9th December 2004. A documentary on the fifteen years of Madhuram Narayanan Centre for Exceptional Children was released by Sister Dr. Rita Mary, Director, Guidance Home for Adult Deaf Girls and played.
